ARISE at NYU Tandon is intended to provide an advanced STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) research opportunity to New York City students lacking access to high quality STEM education experiences. Our group participates in the ARISE program where high-school students get hands-on experience on the development of solar-driven sustainable chemical processes.

The Modestino group is actively involved in the planning, mentoring and development activities of AVOQUIM. Through AVOQUIM's programs, talented high school students in Venezuela participate in national and international chemistry olympiads where they interact with students from all around the world and at the same time are trained for their future scientific careers.
